Crewe’s town centre will be transformed into a seaside escape this August Bank Holiday weekend, as a pop-up beach comes to Lyceum Square for three days of free family fun.
Across Saturday, August 29th, Sunday, August 30th and Monday, August 31st, there will be real sand, deckchairs and a packed programme of entertainment.
Families can enjoy activities from 11am until 4pm, enjoying a taste of the British seaside without leaving town.
The programme includes:
- Face painting from Pixie Jen
- Children’s craft activities with Creative Crewe (Saturday 29th, 11am – 3pm)
- Live music from local DJ Catch92
- A spectacular bubble show from Cosmic Faerie (Bank Holiday Monday)
- Walkabout performances = Giant seagulls, The Lifesaver and The Van Dunk Brothers
The event is delivered by Crewe Town Council in partnership with Crewe Business Improvement District (BID), and supported by Mornflake.
It’s free to enter and is one of a number of events taking place as part of Crewe Town Council’s Summer Festival of Fun, giving residents and visitors more opportunities to enjoy free activities, spend time in the town centre and support local businesses throughout summer.
