Crewe Heritage Centre is open from 10am to 4.30pm, with last admission at 3.30pm.

Climb aboard for a ride on the miniature railway, then check out the impressive detail of the model railway layouts. Explore the powerful stories of the past in the Crewe at War exhibition and through iconic objects including the Whitby Morrison Ice Cream vans.

Get up close to real railway giants, including the 8000th locomotive built at Crewe Works and the record‑breaking APT‑P.

Head to the elevated viewing platform for unbeatable sights of the West Coast Main Line & Chester Line, and discover how trains were once controlled through historic signalling displays.

Special Guests

Meet the RSPB team to hear about the great work they do and find out how you can help the wildlife in your garden and green spaces. Test your knowledge with a wildlife trivia quiz and learn how to make a bird feeder from an apple.

Little Sprouts will be attending from 11am to 1.30pm, join them to become Trackside Habitat Explorers learning about the different animals who live along railways. Create clay animals and build homes for your new friends.
