DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 29th\, Crewe Town Council’s Crewe Christmas Lights Switch On will take place from 2pm to 7pm. \nIt promises to be a free\, fun\, family-friendly day full of entertainment and live performances\, with a fantastic festive market along Market Street\, Earle Street and Market Square full of traders from the community. \nChildren will also have the opportunity to send letters to Father Christmas at Crewe Market Hall and enjoy mini funfair rides on Market Square. \nThe Cat Radio will host live music\, dance and theatre performances throughout the event on the main stage on Memorial Square. While live performances and family activities from local community groups take place on Lyceum Square. \nAdditionally\, the Christmas community Lantern Parade will march from the Market sheds at Lyceum Square to Memorial Square in time for the countdown to the switch on at 7pm on the main stage. DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Crewe Remembrance Sunday Service will take place on Sunday 9th November. \nIt is an opportunity for us all to come together to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. \nThe Remembrance Parade will muster at the Market Sheds on Lyceum Square at 10.15am and will lead into Memorial Square in time for the service to begin at 10.45am. \nAt 11am\, the two minute silence will be observed giving guests\, residents and visitors the opportunity to make their own personal silent tribute to all those who have died in the service of their Country. The Service is due to finish by 12.30pm. \nIf you would like to lay a wreath\, there will be an opportunity to do so at the end of the service. DESCRIPTION:Our very first Crewe Spooktacular is running from Saturday\, October 18th to Saturday\, October 25th\, filling the town with magic and Halloween mayhem. The town centre becomes the Haunted Heart of Crewe\, Nantwich Road shows its darker side with Nantwitch Road and Grand Junction Retail Park will be Pumpkin Junction. \nA brand new character trail will launch on Saturday\, October 18th\, and the highlight of the campaign will be on Saturday\, October 25th\, when the Crewe Spooktacular takes over the town. \nOn the 25th\, the town centre becomes the Haunted Heart of Crewe. From 11am to 3.30pm Lyceum Square\, The Victoria Centre\, and Market Square will be filled with free family fun\, glitter face painting\, creepy crafts and roaming performers. \nAt 2pm\, there will be a fancy dress competition\, where you can win free tickets to this year’s panto\, Jack and the Beanstalk. A final performance in Lyceum Square will bring the day to a close. \nCrewe Market Hall will also be hosting a Halloween Comic-Con\, while different parts of Crewe transforms into creepy communities. \nOver in Grand Junction Retail Park\, there will be opportunities to spin the wheel and win a prize at the Pumpkin Junction between 11am and 1pm. \nKeep an eye out for our spooky map to tie everything together and guide you around. \nFor more information visit here.
