Axe throwing and live music, all under one roof?

Dog Day Afternoon is back at Crewe Market Hall on Saturday, August 2nd and this year’s line-up is bigger and louder than ever.

Organised by The Crewe Dog, the event runs from 12 to 6pm and brings together some of the best original bands around – including Carol Hodge, GAS Kunst, Red Spektor, These Towns, Kicked In The Teeth, Lobster and Mademaker.

There’s something for everyone, from heavy rock and stoner sounds to indie, punk and lo-fi. If you’re already a fan or just want to hear something new, it’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in the town centre.

This year also features axe throwing at Crewe Central, but you’ll need to book in advance if you want to take part.

It’s free to attend, with food, drink and a DJ set to follow in the Market Hall.
