On Saturday, September 20th, the annual fair explores Crewe’s architecture and development as visitors join the groups working to protect the towns heritage.
These include:
- The Crewe Railway Cottages Residents Association, who will be exploring how the Railway Company created a town around their Engineering Works.
- YMCA Cheshire, who will be showing how a railway barracks became a YMCA building.
- Campaign for Real Ale South Cheshire branch, who will be investigating the heritage of brewing.
Other groups included in the event are Crewe Town Council, Crewe Lyceum, Crewe Heritage Centre and Crewe Library.

Plus the café, shop and miniature railway to make a full day of activities and refreshments.
