Visit the Crewe Heritage Centre for a fun family day out.
The venue is open on Saturday, August 23rd for people to put on their best 1940’s outfits and join the staff to celebrate the ‘Crewe at War’ exhibition.
There will be performances from The Lady sings Vintage throughout the day. Bethany Jane Davis hair artist is onsite to create those perfect 1940’s victory rolls.
Also, artist Debbie Goldsmith’s is hosting a craft workshop from 11am – 3pm to commemorate 80 years since World War II. It offers a hands-on way for children and families to connect with history.
Once the masterpiece rosettes are complete they can be taken home to display proudly.
