The ReUse Warehouse Opens its Doors in Crewe
Crewe town centre has welcomed a new addition with the opening of The ReUse Warehouse in the Victoria Centre.
The shop, run by local charity Changing Lives Together, officially launched on Monday, September 8th and is already drawing plenty of interest from shoppers and supporters.
The space, which takes over the former WHSmith unit in the Victoria Centre, is all about giving good quality items a second life. Inside, visitors will find bicycles that have been repaired and restored, furniture and homeware that have been upcycled, tins of recycled paint in a wide range of colours and everyday essentials at affordable prices.
The aim is to save people money, reduce waste going to landfill and create a welcoming place for the community. The store will also host projects and groups, making it more than just a shop.
At the opening event, supporters were joined by special guests including Jodie Moulding from the Moulding Foundation, the Mayor of Crewe and local MP Connor Naismith. The team from Changing Lives Together spoke about how the store is a big step forward in their mission to support people across the town.
The ReUse Warehouse is now open in the Victoria Centre, Crewe (former WHSmith). Doors are open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and everyone is welcome to call in, browse the shelves and find out more about what the charity does.
