Discover Crewe-on-Sea Returns this August Bank Holiday for Three Days of Free Family Fun

The seaside is returning to Crewe town centre for the August Bank Holiday with the second year of Discover Crewe-on-Sea.
From Saturday, August 29th to Monday, August 31st, there will be three days of free entertainment, including real sand, deckchairs, and many more activities in Lyceum Square.
Families can enjoy the British seaside right from the town centre, as a pop up beach is open to the public from 11am to 4pm across the whole weekend.

The packed programme of activities includes:
- Face painting from Pixie Jen
- Children’s craft activities with Creative Crewe on Saturday 29th from 11am until 3pm
- Live music from local DJ Catch92
- A spectacular bubble show from Cosmic Faerie on Bank Holiday Monday
- Walkabout performances from Giant Seagulls, The Lifesaver and The Van Dunk Brothers

Discover Crewe-on-Sea is just one of the events making up Crewe Town Council’s Summer Festival of Fun, giving residents and visitors more opportunities to enjoy free activities, spend time in the town centre and support local businesses throughout the summer.
The event is delivered by Crewe Town Council in partnership with Crewe BID and supported by Mornflake.
Entry to Discover Crewe-on-Sea is free. The event takes place from 11am until 4pm on Saturday, August 29th, Sunday, August 30th and Monday, August 31st in Lyceum Square.
