Discover Crewe is the new identity for our town, created by Crewe’s Business Improvement District (BID) to celebrate the places, people and stories that make it special. It brings together three key areas – the town centre, Nantwich Road and Grand Junction Retail Park – under one shared platform.
Local or visiting, here for errands or a day out, Discover Crewe is here to help you get more from your time in town. From hidden gems and independent shops to food, family events and local heritage, this is your guide to everything Crewe has to offer.
One town. One story.
Crewe has always been a place shaped by progress. With the arrival of the Grand Junction Railway in the 1830s, the town grew rapidly into a hub of engineering and industry. Today, that same spirit lives on in its people and businesses.
Graham Saunders, Chair of Crewe BID and director of South Cheshire Glass, said: “This is a significant moment for Crewe. The BID has laid important foundations over the past year, and now we have a platform to take that further – one clear identity that speaks for the town and supports the work that’s underway”
Discover Crewe has been created to shine a light on what’s happening now and what’s still to come – supporting local businesses, boosting community pride and helping more people see Crewe through fresh eyes.
Graham added: “There’s a lot of pride in Crewe and a lot of potential too. Discover Crewe gives us the opportunity to show that in a more visible way.”
